Originally known as the Tremont House, the building that houses the Slippery Noodle Inn was constructed in 1850 and served as a hotel and stagecoach stop. In 1963, the establishment was renamed the Slippery Noodle Inn and shifted its focus to becoming a blues and jazz bar.
